A lovely week ...

Well i've had such a nice week and lost 2lbs which topped it all off. Last night I went out with some friends from Uni - we had nando's and then went salsa dancing at Guanabarra. I did eat in excess of my points, but I will make up for this before D-DAY!

I am sooo desperate to reach goal by christmas. I have decided to give up alcohol until then and have decided to adopt a "swear box" approach to it - every time I think I need a drink, i'm going to put £1 in a money box. I can then use this money to myself a new outfit for christmas day - in my family we dress up for it and it's a lovely tradition we have always had.

I have decided to enter a 10k - although I haven't done it yet, I am going to start training tomorrow. I used the Podrunner intervals training for my 5K and I would thoroughly recommend them - i'm going to use the "Gateway to 8K" and then onto the "10K Freeway" - taking me 20 weeks in total, although I managed to run the full 5k without completing the training sessions - if your interested, the podcast is free and can be downloaded from

Well ...

It has been a long time since I last posted a blog, but it really does help!

I am now into the 10s! and I managed to run a 5k in 30 mins 54 secs today.

What's new? Not much really ... apart from I am really struggling :( I only have 19 lbs to reach goal and really do not want to fall at the last hurdle!

I'm going to start/continue blogging again to help me get there by xmas!
